MEET THE TEAM

Mike Waterman aka "Mikezilla"

Introduction: Mike Waterman is one of our tie dye specialists on the King Creations Team! He began playing paintball in 1998 and fell back in love with it in 2020. Mike met Craig and James in 2022 and instantly connected with them both. He began tie dyeing with help from his friend Kelley and from the Wizard himself. After a few months of making tee shirts and with endless support from his fiancée Hannah he decided to start his own brand, Spike’s Dyes. He officially joined the KC Team in the summer of 2023 after winning the Creator 2.0 contest. Mike’s dyes were first released on Drop 12 with The Bomb and The Risk Taker series. Mike also runs The Headwear Collective, a Facebook page for headband collectors and creators to gather and show off their gear. We look forward to continue working with Mike and having him on our team!

Favorite Paintball Moment: Winning 1st place in my first ever Streetball style tournament at AG Paintball in the pouring rain. Also attending my first World Cup and taking the field with the King’s Creation’s team.

 

Devin Morris aka "Chief"

Introduction: Devin Morris is one of our embroidery specialist on the King Creations’ Team! He was introduced into the sport in 2013 and fell back in love with it in 2021. Never having picked up a needle, he was given the idea to start his creator journey by his Wife (Tatiana). He shocked the Hormesis Community with his unique alterations and creative designs. After months of practice, he decided to start his own brand Domeology. Devin met James and Craig in 2022, and they have been brothers ever since! He officially joined the KC Team in the beginning of 2023, and has been helped create and be part of some of our most monumental and iconic KC drops to include: The Forget Me Not, MB55, Dreamy, JR7, Silent Battle, and Journey bands! Him and his Wife were also honored as two of our KC Knights in 2023. We always look forward to working with Chief and having him on our team! Fair Winds and Following Seas Chief!

James Roesler II aka “King Roesler”

Introduction: James Roesler one of the founders of KC, started his journey in the paintball world when he was 12 years young. Ever since then the sport of paintball has been a way of life even at the age of 31. Paintball is what he does not only for passion but for competition, he plays at the highest level of the sport, with the goal of achieving pro paintball one day. James watching Craig Baxter create within the hormesis community inspired James too create something of his own. Having the passion for art and people he reached out too Craig one day with a idea, a idea that sparked both their brains with the desire too share their art with the community while inspiring others at the same time too pick up there passions as well and believe in them self no matter the circumstances. James didn’t start sewing till the start of KC over a year ago he picked it up and said I can do this I believe in myself and the community and now here we are.

Ricky Malinowski 

Introduction: First started playing paintball in 2014 after a breakup to blow off steam falling in love with the sport dabbled with rec ball and practiced with a few speedball teams. Nothing went of that due to work obligations stopped playing for a few years then got back into it when a few friends took over the local field I played at. Started out playing again then turned into refing. I've held the head ref position since 2021.

Craig Baxter aka “The Wizard”

Introduction: Craig is the owner of KC. He was introduced to the sport in 2000 and fell back in love with it in 2019. Never having dyed, or sewn prior he was given the idea to dye headbands by his wife. The dyes are his way of staying connected to the sport and creating unique pieces for players globally. He enjoys creating these projects with so many and connecting to learn the meaning behind each. He looks at the dye work similarly to a tattoo no two will ever be identical.

Occupation: Pharmaceutical industry manufacturing rare human genetic therapies

Hobbies: Family, Paintball, Motorcycles, tie-dyes, sewing, and embroidery

Favorite Paintball Moment: Hormesis CK 2022, and World Cup 2022 with Hormesis Most Wanted. Being on the field with Kieran Johnson, teammates, and the veteran militia squad. The energy was a whole new level!
